SUMMARY:"Spin Your Meter Backwards" in Sequim!
DESCRIPTION:NOTE: This event is almost full. If there are 25 RSVP’s below\, we have reached the room capacity\, and cannot accept any more participants. We apologize for any inconvenience; please see the events page for other events near you. \nPlease join us at the Guy Cole Event Center Guy on August 8th from 11am-noon\, for a new and improved “Spin Your Meter Backwards With Solar” presentation by Andy Cochrane. Topics include how solar electric power systems work\, new technologies\, state and utility financial incentives\, equipment choices and the basics of site assessment. Olympic Peninsula solar projects will be used to illustrate. This presentation is recently updated with changes in policy\, incentives\, and updates in technology for solar and storage. \nSince 2003 Power Trip Energy Corp has installed over 1200 grid-tied solar PV systems on the Olympic Peninsula totaling more than 10 megawatts of power-generating capacity. Come learn why grid-tied PV is the most reliable and economically sensible way to generate your own energy.
