DESCRIPTION:Please join us at the Village Green on September 19th from 10-11am\, for a new and improved “Spin Your Meter Backwards With Solar” presentation by Andy Cochrane. Topics include how solar electric power systems work\, new technologies\, state and utility financial incentives\, equipment choices and the basics of site assessment. Olympic and Kitsap Peninsula solar projects will be used to illustrate. This presentation is recently updated with changes in policy\, incentives\, and updates in technology for solar and storage. \nSince 2003 Power Trip Energy Corp has installed over 1250 grid-tied solar PV systems on the Olympic Peninsula totaling more than 12 megawatts of power-generating capacity.
