Port Ludlow Solar
Solar power systems are growing in popularity in Port Ludlow. Homeowners are often surprised to learn that the area averages approximately 3.5 hours of full sun per day. That is about 70% of the sun resources of southern California. This makes grid-tied solar installations very feasible and cost effective in Port Ludlow. Power Trip Energy has installed a number of solar PV systems in Port Ludlow over the years; here are a few of our latest projects:
This home in Port Ludlow used the South facing roof of their detached garage to hold (30) SunPower 327 AC Modules
The array on this roof consists of 28 SolarWorld 265 watt modules and a Fronius 5.1 KW inverter.
The solar array installed on the Franson’s shop roof consists of 28 Sharp 240 watt modules and one SMA Sunnyboy 7 KW inverter. The modules are mounted on a metal roof.
The Derrenberger’s roof is adorned with 33 Silicon Energy 190 watt modules and 2 Silicon Energy 3.84 KW grid tied inverters.
7.2 KW grid tied PV system composed of 36 Sanyo 200 watt modules feeding a SMA Sunnyboy 7000 watt inverter.
Chris & Carolyn are quite pleased with their 7.2 KW grid tied PV system, consisting of 36 Sanyo 200 watt modules and a 7000 watt SMA inverter. Their beach front location is blessed with tremendous natural light, including reflected light from the water.
