Poulsbo Solar

Solar power in Poulsbo is becoming more popular every day. And that makes sense, since solar power systems work quite well here. Poulsbo averages about 3.5 hours of full sun per day. That is about 70% of the sun resources of southern California. This makes grid-tied solar installations very popular. We installed this array on a small outbuilding available on the property. This system will generate half of their annual needed energy, but if they use the state incentive to help pay the remainder of the year, they’ll see a 100% reduction in utility costs.

We filled the south roof of this home with 24 SunPower 335watt AC Modules and will generate over 8,500 kWh on an annual basis. For this client, this about 1/2 of their total consumption! They are excited to pay less money to the utility company and produce as much clean energy as possible.
