Wartes Residence, 8.04 kW, Hansville 2018
This SunPowered client will produce approx 5,700 kWh of clean energy annually!
Solar power systems in Hansville work quite well. The Kitsap Peninsula averages approximately 3.5 hours of full sun per day. That is about 70% of the sun resources of southern California. This makes grid-tied solar installations very feasible in Hansville. Power Trip Energy has installed a number of solar PV systems in Hansville over the years; here are a few of our latest projects in the area.
This SunPowered client will produce approx 5,700 kWh of clean energy annually!
For this client, we initially installed a 9.81kW system on their newly constructed home. After two years of living in the home, they recognized that they needed some additional capacity to reach full consumption vs production. We installed an additional 6.37kW to achieve that goal
This client realized that they system they installed in 2006 was not meeting all of their energy needs. We were able to reconfigure the array to put the new (12) SunPower 335 AC Modules in the most ideal location for solar production.
This home has a roof mounted array consisting of 14 SunPower 327 watt modules and a Fronius 6 KW inverter.
1.2 KW grid tied PV system composed of 6 Sanyo 200 watt modules and a SMA 2100 watt inverter. The PV array is located on a bus shelter at the entrance to the Chatham subdivision and powers the lights and automatic entry gate for the development. This subdivision in north Kitsap County will highlight green build homes and the developer is offering cash incentives for homeowners to build green and include solar on their homes.
