Silverdale Solar
Silverdale is one of the fastest growing residential markets in Washington, and we are finding that solar is growing right along with it. Solar power systems in Silverdale can work very effectively. The Kitsap Peninsula averages approximately 3.5 hours of full sun per day. That is about 70% of the sun resources of southern California. This makes grid-tied solar installations very feasible in Silverdale. Power Trip Energy is installing a growing number of solar PV systems in the greater Silverdale area. Here are a few of our latest projects:
Residence, 9.48 KW, Silverdale, 2015
This home has two separate west facing arrays consisting of 29 SunPower 327 watt modules and two Power One inverters (one 5000 watt and one 6000 watt).
Residence, 5.89 KW, Silverdale, 2014
This home uses two different roof planes to take full advantage of its solar potential. The array consists of 18 SunPower 327 watt PV modules and a Solar Edge 6 KW inverter.
Residence, 5.17 KW, Silverdale, 2012
This array is comprised of 22 Sharp 235 watt modules and a Power One 5 KW inverter. The array utilizes two different portions of the roof thereby maximizing the performance of roof space that would otherwise go unused.
