Solar power systems are growing in popularity in Port Ludlow. Homeowners are often surprised to learn that the area averages approximately 3.5 hours of full sun per day. That is about 70% of the sun resources of southern California. This makes grid-tied solar installations very feasible and cost effective in Port Ludlow. Power Trip Energy has installed a number of solar PV systems in Port Ludlow over the years; here are a few of our latest projects:
Chris & Carolyn are quite pleased with their 7.2 KW grid tied PV system, consisting of 36 Sanyo 200 watt modules and a 7000 watt SMA inverter. Their beach front location is blessed with tremendous natural light, including reflected light from the water.
