Poulsbo Solar
Solar power in Poulsbo is becoming more popular every day. And that makes sense, since solar power systems work quite well here. Poulsbo averages about 3.5 hours of full sun per day. That is about 70% of the sun resources of southern California. This makes grid-tied solar installations very popular. Roof mounted array comprised of 36 SunPower 327 watt for a total energy production of 11.77 KW.
Residence, 5.64 KW, Poulsbo, 2012
This 5.64 KW array consists of 24 Sharp 235 watt modules and a Power One 6000 watt inverter. The modules are mounted on a concrete curved tile roof.
Mosa Residence, 2.87 KW, Poulsbo, 2009
2.87 KW fixed-pole mounted array consisting of 14 Evergreen 205 watt modules and a 3000 watt PV Powered inverter.
Pederson Residence, 5.32 KW, Poulsbo, 2007
This 5.32 KW grid-tied PV system with 28 Evergreen 190 watt modules and a SMA SunnyBoy 6000 watt inverter mounted on the Pederson’s shop. The Pederson’s home also features a solar hot water system that helps heat their domestic hot water year around.
